The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the white forenoon 1 And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And verily thy Lord will give unto thee so that thou wilt be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 As for the orphan, do not oppress him, 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
