No, by the moon! 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 "Nor were we of those who fed the indigent; 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 Then there will not profit them intercesion of the interceders. 48 WHAT, THEN, is amiss with them that they turn away from all admonition 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 No indeed; each one of them desires that open letters be sent to each of them. 52 Nay, verily. They fear not the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 Let him who will take heed: 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
