Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I CALL TO WITNESS those who are sent consecutively, 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 separating one from another, 4 and those hurling a reminder 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the apostles are gathered at their appointed time 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 And We shall cause those of later times to follow them. 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a secure resting-place, 21 for an appointed time? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 (It will be said to the disbelievers): "Depart you to that which you used to deny! 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 which neither provides (cooling) shade nor protection against the flames; 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
