And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 They called him a liar. Thus, all of them will suffer torment 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 Lot was certainly a Messenger. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We utterly destroyed the rest of them. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
