Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

Perish the hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he! 1 No profit to him from all his wealth, and all his gains! 2 He will suffer in a blazing fire 3 and so too will his wife who (threw thorns and firewood in the Prophet's way). 4 upon her neck a rope of palm-fibre. 5

Almighty Allah's Truth.
