Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Ya'. Sin. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a Straight Way. 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You only warn he who follows the Remembrance and fears the Merciful in the Unseen. Give to him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
