Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ Inform My bondmen that undoubtedly, I surely am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful. 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 And declare thou unto them of Ibrahim's guests. 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 He said: Bring ye me good tidings (of a son) when old age hath overtaken me? Of what then can ye bring good tidings? 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 (All) save the family of Lot. Them we shall deliver every one, 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
