Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
Alif, Lam, Meem. 1 The revelation of the Book, there is no doubt in it, is from the Lord of the worlds. 2 Or say they: "He (Muhammad SAW) has fabricated it?" Nay, it is the truth from your Lord, that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you (O Muhammad SAW), in order that they may be guided. 3 God is He that created the heavens and the earth, and what between them is, in six days, then seated Himself upon the Throne. Apart from Him, you have no protector neither mediator; will you not remember? 4 He sends the regulation of the affair from the heavens to the earth, then on the day which is equal to one thousand years of yours, it will ascend to Him. 5 Such is the Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, the Mighty, the Merciful, 6 He Who has made everything which He has created most good: He began the creation of man with (nothing more than) clay, 7 Then He made his progeny of an extract, of water held in light estimation. 8 Then He proportioned him and breathed into him from His [created] soul and made for you hearing and vision and hearts; little are you grateful. 9 They say: “Shall we be created afresh after we have become lost in the earth?” Nay, the fact is that they deny that they will meet their Lord. 10 ۞ Say: "The angel of death appointed over you will take away your soul, then you will be sent back to your Lord." 11
