And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We vouchsafed unto the twain a Book luminous. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We left for them (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times; 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
