Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 And Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears will mind, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 who will roast in the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Indeed successful is the one who became pure. 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
