Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
26 verses, revealed in Mecca after Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat) before The Cave (Al-Kahf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Have you heard about the Overwhelming Event? 1 [Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled, 2 troubled and tired as a result of their deeds in the past. 3 They shall roast into the scalding Fire, 4 that is fueled from a tremendously hot fountain, 5 For them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant 6 which gives no strength and neither stills hunger. 7 Faces on that day jocund, 8 and pleased with the result of their deeds in the past. 9 In an elevated garden, 10 where they will hear no idle talk. 11 Wherein is a gushing spring, 12 raised couches, 13 And chosen goblets. 14 and arranged cushions 15 and carpets outspread. 16 Do they not then ponder how the clouds were formed; 17 And the heavens, how it was raised high; 18 And at the mountains, how they are rooted and fixed firm? 19 And at the earth, how it is spread out? 20 Then remind them! Thou art only a reminder; 21 and are not invested with the authority to compel them. 22 However, as for him who turns away, being bent on denying the truth, 23 Him Allah shall torment with the greatest torment. 24 Verily, to Us will be their return; 25 Then surely upon Us is the taking of their account. 26
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
