See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 The day on which We will gather those who guard (against evil) to the Beneficent Allah to receive honors 85 And We shall drive the Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.) to Hell, in a thirsty state (like a thirsty herd driven down to water), 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave. 93 Verily He encompasses them and has counted them all. 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers). 96 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
