The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Ta-Seen-Meem. (Alphabets of the Arabic language – Allah, and to whomever he reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that thou tormentest thyself (O Muhammad) because they believe not. 3 If We will, We can send down on them from the sky a portent so that their necks would remain bowed before it. 4 And never does a new advice come to them from the Most Gracious, but they turn away from it. 5 They will soon come to know the truth of that which they have been scoffing at. 6 Do they not look at the earth,- how many noble things of all kinds We have produced therein? 7 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 8 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 9
