And recite to them the news of Abraham, 69 When he said to his father and his people: What do you worship? 70 They said: "We worship idols, and to them we are ever devoted." 71 He said, “Do they hear you when you call?” 72 or do they profit you, or harm?' 73 They said: Nay, but we found our fathers acting on this wise. 74 (Abraham) said, "Do you know that what you worship 75 you and your forefathers of yore? 76 "Verily! They are enemies to me, save the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists); 77 "Who has created me, and it is He Who guides me; 78 And Who feedeth me and watereth me. 79 who, when I am sick, heals me; 80 "Who will cause me to die, and then to life (again); 81 And Who, I ardently hope, will forgive me my sin on the Day of Judgment. 82 My Lord! Bestow Hukman (religious knowledge, right judgement of the affairs and Prophethood) on me, and join me with the righteous; 83 And appoint for me an honourable mention among the posterity 84 and place me amongst the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss. 85 And forgive my father, verily he is of the erring; 86 And do not disgrace me on the Day they are [all] resurrected - 87 on the Day of Judgment when neither wealth nor children will be of any benefit 88 Except him who comes to Allah with a heart free (from evil). 89 When Paradise shall be brought near to the God-fearing 90 and Hell shall be revealed to the misguided, 91 And it will be said to them, “Where are those whom you used to worship?” 92 “Instead of Allah? Will they help you or retaliate?” 93 So they will be overturned into Hellfire, they and the deviators 94 and the hosts of Iblis - all together. 95 They will dispute between themselves therein, and will say, 96 “By oath of Allah, we were indeed in open error.” 97 When we made you equal with the Lord of the Worlds. 98 And none but the guilty led us astray; 99 Now we have no intercessors, 100 "'Nor a single friend to feel (for us). 101 Oh, that we had another turn (on earth), that we might be of the believers! 102 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 103 Surely, Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 104

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
