And indeed, warnings came to the people of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) [through Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron)]. 41 They rejected all Our communications, so We overtook them after the manner of a Mighty, Powerful One. 42 Are your disbelievers better than those, or have ye some immunity in the scriptures? 43 Or do they say: "We are a great multitude, and we shall be victorious?" 44 Soon shall the hosts be routed, and they shall turn (their) backs. 45 Nay, but the Hour (of doom) is their appointed tryst, and the Hour will be more wretched and more bitter (than their earthly failure). 46 The sinful ones will face the destructive torment of hell 47 On that Day they will be dragged into the fire faces foremost, (and told:) "Taste the feel of Hell." 48 We have indeed created all things by measure; 49 And Our Order is but one word like the flashing of an eye. 50 And indeed, We have destroyed your likes, then is there any that will remember (or receive admonition)? 51 Every thing that they have done is in the Scrolls, 52 All things small or great have been written down. 53 Verily the God-fearing will be in Gardens and among rivers. 54 in a secure abode, in the presence of the Powerful King. 55
