The Comet (Al-Taareq)
17 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Town (Al-Balad) before The Moon (Al-Qamar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By heaven and the night-star! 1 what do you know what the night-visitor is? 2 - The piercing Star! 3 Over every soul there is a watcher. 4 Now let man but think from what he is created! 5 He is created from a drop emitted- 6 which comes out of the loins and ribs. 7 Lo! He verily is Able to return him (unto life) 8 On a Day whereon secrets shall be out. 9 he will have no power, nor anyone to help him. 10 I swear by the raingiving heavens, 11 by earth splitting with verdure, 12 Lo! this (Qur'an) is a conclusive word, 13 It is no pleasantry. 14 Surely they will make a scheme, 15 And I plot a plot (against them). 16 So give a respite to the disbelievers. Deal you gently with them for a while. 17
God Almighty has spoken the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
