Al-Inshiqaaq
The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
25 verses, revealed in Mecca after Shattering (Al-Infitaar) before The Romans (Al-Room)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 And hearkens to (the Command of) its Lord, and it must needs (do so);- 2 And when the earth is spread out. 3 And casts forth what is in it and becomes empty, 4 And hearkens to its Lord and is dutiful, 5 O human, you are working hard towards your Lord and you will meet Him. 6 Then as to him who is given his book in his right hand, 7 Soon will his account be taken by an easy reckoning, 8 And he shall go back to his people joyful. 9 And whoever is given his record of deeds behind his back – 10 Soon will he cry for perdition, 11 And will go into the blazing fire. 12 Verily, he was among his people in joy! 13 and had thought that they would never be brought back to life again. 14 This is a fact. Their Lord is Well-Aware of (all that they do). 15 So by oath of the late evening’s light. 16 by the night and what it covers, 17 and the moon when it grows full, 18 Surely ye shall ride layer upon layer. 19 What is wrong with them that they do not believe? 20 And when the Qur'an is recited to them, they do not prostrate [to Allah]? ۩ 21 Nay, but the unbelievers are crying lies, 22 God is quite aware of what they are storing in their hearts. 23 Therefore give them the glad tidings of a painful punishment. 24 Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is a reward uninterrupted. 25

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
