The unbelievers say: 'When we and our fathers are turned to dust, shall we be brought forth? 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 And do not grieve upon them, nor be distressed because of their scheming. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say: "Perhaps that which you wish to hasten on, may be close behind you. 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 BEHOLD, this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel most [of that] whereon they hold divergent views; 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Verily thy Lord will decide between them by His Decree: and He is Exalted in Might, All-Knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah; surely, you (O Muhammad SAW) are on manifest truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ When God's word is justly carried out against them, We will produce a dabbah from the earth which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our signs. 82
