The Statute Book (Al-Furqaan)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Blessed be He who has sent down the Salvation upon His servant, that he may be a warner to all beings; 1 He whose is the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and who hath not taken a son, and for whom there is not an associate in the dominion, and who hath created everything, and measured it according to a measurement. 2 Yet they have chosen for themselves other deities besides Him, who do not create anything but rather are themselves created, who have no power over their own benefits, or trouble, and who have no control over life, death, and resurrection. 3 And those who disbelieve say: this is naught but a falsehood that he hath fabricated and there have assisted him therein other people; so surely they have aimed at a wrong and a fraud. 4 They say, "These things are the writings of the ancients which he has got copied down for himself, and then these are recited to him in the morning and evening.'' 5 Say: "The (Qur'an) was sent down by Him who knows the mystery (that is) in the heavens and the earth: verily He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." 6 They also say, 'What ails this Messenger that he eats food, and goes in the markets? Why has an angel not been sent down to him, to be a warner with him? 7 Or, why has no treasure been thrown to him, or a garden for him to eat from' And the harmdoers say: 'The man you follow is surely bewitched' 8 O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) see how they invent examples for you – they have therefore gone astray, unable find a road. 9
