The Comet (Al-Taareq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heavens and that which comes in the night -- 1 How will you comprehend what the night star is? 2 (It is) the star of piercing brightness; 3 There is not a soul but over it is a keeper. 4 LET MAN, then, observe out of what he has been created: 5 He was created from a fluid, ejected, 6 Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs. 7 God has certainly power to bring him back (from the dead). 8 The Day when secrets will be put on trial, 9 when he will be helpless, with no supporter. 10 By oath of the sky from which comes down the rain. 11 by earth splitting with verdure, 12 Verily! This (the Quran) is the Word that separates (the truth from falsehood, and commands strict legal laws for mankind to cut the roots of evil). 13 It is not a thing for amusement. 14 Verily they are plotting a plot. 15 and I am devising guile. 16 So grant the unbelievers a respite: let them alone for a while. 17
