3/4 Hizb 52
< random >
Surely We have created man, and We know the promptings of his heart, and We are nearer to him than even his jugular vein. 16 Since the two scribes are sitting on each of his shoulders, he does not utter a word which is not recorded immediately by the watchful scribes. 17 There is not a word he utters but an observer is ready (to make note of it). 18 And the stupor of death will bring Truth (before his eyes): "This was the thing which thou wast trying to escape!" 19 The trumpet will be sounded. This is the Day [you were] warned of. 20 And every human being will come forward with [his erstwhile] inner urges and [his] conscious mind, 21 [and will be told:] "Indeed, unmindful hast thou been of this [Day of Judgment]; but now We have lifted from thee thy veil, and sharp is thy sight today!" 22 And his companion (angel) will say: "Here is (this Record) ready with me!" 23 (The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 24 "Who forbade what was good, transgressed all bounds, cast doubts and suspicions; 25 Who sets up another god with Allah, so do cast him into severe chastisement. 26 ۞ His companion will say: "O Lord, I did not lead him to wickedness, but he was himself far astray." 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 My word shall not be changed, nor am I in the least unjust to the servants. 29
