۞ And We revealed unto Musa saying: go by night with My bondmen verily ye shall be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 They announced “These people are a small group.” 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 We deprived them (the unbelievers) of gardens, springs, 57 And treasures and honorable station - 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 He said: By no means; surely my Lord is with me: He will show me a way out. 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
