The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 THESE ARE MESSAGES of the divine writ, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth! 2 Belike thou shalt kill thyself with grief because they become not believers. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 Whenever a new message comes to them from the Beneficent God, they turn away from it. 5 So they have indeed denied (the truth - this Quran), then the news of what they mocked at, will come to them. 6 What, have they not regarded the earth, how many therein We have caused to grow of every generous kind? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 9
