۞ God says, "Do not take two gods. He is only One God. So fear Me alone." 51 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and earth; His is the religion for ever. Then will you fear other than God? 52 Whatever blessing you have is from God, and to Him you turn for help when distress befalls you, 53 And afterward, when He hath rid you of the misfortune, behold! a set of you attribute partners to their Lord, 54 So that they be ungrateful for what We have given them; then enjoy yourselves; for soon will you know 55 And they assign a portion of that which We have provided them unto what they know not (false deities). By Allah, you shall certainly be questioned about (all) that you used to fabricate. 56 And they ascribe daughters to Allah, glory be to Him; and for themselves (they would have) what they desire. 57 When good news of the birth of a female is given to any of them, his face grows dark and inwardly he chokes. 58 avoiding all people because of the [alleged] evil of the glad tiding which he has received, [and debating within himself:] Shall he keep this [child] despite the contempt [which he feels for it] - or shall he bury it in the dust? Old, evil indeed is whatever they decide! 59 For those who do not believe in the hereafter is an evil attribute, and Allah's is the loftiest attribute; and He is the Mighty, the Wise. 60
