The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with its appointed tremor. 1 And the earth throws up her burdens (from within), 2 and man cries out, "What has happened to her?" 3 That Day, it will report its news 4 for your Lord will have commanded her (to do so). 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 and whoever has done an atom's weight of evil, will also see it. 8
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
