And when thy Lord called Moses, saying: Go unto the wrongdoing folk, 10 The people of Fir'awn; fear they Me not? 11 He said: "My Lord! I fear that they will brand me a liar. 12 and my breast will be straitened, and my tongue will not be loosed; so send to Aaron. 13 They have charged me [with a crime] for which I am afraid they will kill me." 14 Allah said: "By no means! proceed then, both of you, with Our Signs; We are with you, and will listen (to your call). 15 And come together unto Pharaoh and say: Lo! we bear a message of the Lord of the Worlds, 16 That you should send the children of Israel with us.' 17 Pharaoh said to Moses, "Did we not bring you up among us as a child? And you spent several years of your life with us. 18 “And you committed the deed of yours that you committed, and you were ungrateful.” 19 Said he, 'Indeed I did it then, being one of those that stray; 20 So I fled from you when I feared you. Then my Lord granted me wisdom and prophethood and appointed me [as one] of the messengers. 21 And is this a favor of which you remind me - that you have enslaved the Children of Israel?" 22 Said Firaun, “And what is the Lord Of The Creation? 23 He said, 'The Lord of the heavens and earth, and what between them is, if you have faith.' 24 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said to those around: "Do you not hear (what he says)?" 25 He said: your Lord and the Lord of your ancient fathers. 26 Said Firaun, “This (Noble) Messenger of yours, who has been sent towards you, has no intelligence!” 27 (Moses) said: "The Lord of the East and the Lord of the West and all that lies between them, if you have sense." 28 Pharaoh said: "If you take any god other than me, I will certainly make you one of those (who are rotting) in prison." 29 He said: even though I bring unto thee something manifest? 30 (The Pharaoh) said: "Then bring it, if you speak the truth." 31 Moses threw his staff and suddenly it became a serpent. 32 And he drew forth his hand, and lo! it appeared white to the onlookers. 33
