Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 On the Day whereon We shall gather the God-feaing unto the Compassionate as an embassy. 85 And drive the wicked into Hell like cattle driven to water, 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 And the disbelievers said, “The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring.” 88 Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and earth except he comes to the Merciful as a worshiper. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
