The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it. 2 thinking that his wealth will make him live forever. 3 By no means! They will be thrown into hutamah. 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 It is a fierce fire created by God 6 Which mounts directed at the hearts. 7 (And) vaults them over 8 in its long columns of flames. 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
