Verily the God-fearing shall be amidst gardens and springs. 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 They will not be affected by any weariness there, and they will never be made to leave." 48 ۞ [O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful. 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham 51 When the angels came to him and said, “Peace"; he said, “We feel afraid of you.” 52 They said: "Fear not! We give thee glad tidings of a son endowed with wisdom." 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 They said: we bear tidings of a truth; be then thou not of the desponding. 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 He said: what is your errand, sent ones? 57 They said: "Verily we have been sent to a guilty people 58 Only the family of Lot will all be saved, 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
