۞ Say: "I do admonish you on one point: that ye do stand up before Allah,- (It may be) in pairs, or (it may be) singly,- and reflect (within yourselves): your Companion is not possessed: he is no less than a warner to you, in face of a terrible Penalty." 46 Say: "The reward I ask is for yourself. My reward is due from none but God; and He is witness over everything." 47 Say, "Indeed, my Lord projects the truth. Knower of the unseen." 48 Say: "The truth has come, and falsehood had neither precedence nor will reappear." 49 Say: “If I go astray then the hurt of straying will come only upon me. But if I am rightly-guided, that is only because of the revelation that my Lord makes to me. He is All-Hearing, Ever Nigh.” 50 Couldst thou but see when they are terrified with no escape, and are seized from near at hand, 51 And they will say, “We accept faith in it”; and how can they attain it from so far away? (After they have crossed the limit of life allotted to them.) 52 Seeing that they did reject Faith (entirely) before, and that they (continually) cast (slanders) on the unseen from a position far off? 53 A barrier shall be raised between them and what they desired, as was done with their partisans before. They too were filled with disquieting doubt. 54
