And as for those who emigrated for the Cause of Allah, after suffering oppression, We will certainly give them goodly residence in this world, but indeed the reward of the Hereafter will be greater, if they but knew! 41 They are the ones who are steadfast and put their trust in their Lord. 42 And We sent not before you except men to whom We revealed [Our message]. So ask the people of the message if you do not know. 43 With evidences and scriptures We sent them. And We have sent down unto thee the admonition that thou mayest expound unto mankind that which hath been revealed toward them, and that haply they may reflect. 44 Can, then, they who devise evil schemes ever feel sure that God will not cause the earth to swallow them, or that suffering will not befall them without their perceiving whence [it came]? 45 Or that He will not seize them in their going to and fro so that there be no escape for them? 46 Or that He would not seize them gradually [in a state of dread]? But indeed, your Lord is Kind and Merciful. 47 Do they not see the shadows of all things God has created incline to the right and the left, bowing in obeisance to God? 48 And to Allah only prostrates whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever moves in the earth, and the angels – and they are not proud. 49 They bear upon themselves the fear of their Lord, and do only what they are commanded. ۩ 50
