And most surely this is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 upon thy heart, that thou mayest be one of the warners, 194 In the plain Arabic language. 195 And verily, [the essence of] this [revelation] is indeed found in the ancient books of divine wisdom [as well]. 196 Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it? 197 And if We had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs, 198 And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus do We cause (unbelief) to enter the hearts of sinners. 200 they shall not believe in it until they see the painful punishment 201 It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 and they will say, 'Shall we be respited?' 203 Would they then wish for Our Torment to be hastened on? 204 Tell Me, if We do let them enjoy for years, 205 And then there cometh unto them that which they had been promised. 206 Of what avail shall their enjoyment be to them? 207 Never have We destroyed a habitation till We had sent admonishers to them 208 By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust. 209 The satans did not bring down this (Clear Book), 210 It would neither suit them nor would they be able (to produce it). 211 Truly, they are expelled from hearing. 212 Therefore do not worship another deity along with Allah, for you will be punished. 213 And O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), warn your closest relatives. 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 who can see whether you stand up 218 And thy movements among those who prostrate themselves, 219 Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you (of him) upon whom the Shaitans descend? 221 They descend on every forgerer steeped in sin, 222 They incline their ears, and most of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets [they, too, are prone to deceive themselves: and so, only] those who are lost in grievous error would follow them. 224 Do you not see that in every valley they roam 225 And that they say that which they do not do, 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227
