Al-Naml 6 of 7
The unbelievers say: 'When we and our fathers are turned to dust, shall we be brought forth? 67 Indeed we and our fathers had been promised this before. It is nothing but the earlier people's lore." 68 Say: "Travel in the land and see how (bad) was the end of sinners." 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 They ask, "When the Day of Judgment will come, if it is true at all?" 71 Say: Maybe there may have drawn near to you somewhat of that which you seek to hasten on. 72 And verily thine Lord is full of grace for mankind, but most of them give not thanks. 73 Your Lord certainly knows whatever their hearts conceal or reveal. 74 And all the hidden secrets of the heavens and the earth are (written) in a clear Book. (The Preserved Tablet) 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
