As the caravan departed, their father said: 'I smell the scent of Joseph, unless you think I am foolish' 94 They said: by Allah! verily thou art in thine old-time error. 95 Then when the bearer of the good news came, He cast (the shirt) over his face, and he forthwith regained clear sight. He said: "Did I not say to you, 'I know from Allah that which ye know not?'" 96 They said, "O our father, ask for us forgiveness of our sins; indeed, we have been sinners." 97 He said, "I shall certainly ask my Lord to forgive you. Surely, He is the Most Forgiving and Merciful." 98 Then when they entered the presence of Joseph, he provided a home for his parents with himself, and said: "Enter ye Egypt (all) in safety if it please Allah." 99 He helped his parents to a couch and they all fell down on their knees before him. He said, "My father, this is the interpretation of my dream. My Lord has made it come true! He was kind to me when He let me out of prison and brought you from the desert after Satan had brought about discord between me and my brethren. My Lord is the best planner in achieving what He will; He is All Knowing, and Truly Wise." 100 ۞ Lord, You have given me the kingdom and taught me to interpret visions. Originator of the heavens and the earth, my Guardian in this world and in the Everlasting Life. Let me die in submission (as a Muslim) and let me join the righteous' 101 THIS ACCOUNT of something that was beyond the reach of thy perception We [now] reveal unto thee, [O Prophet:] for thou wert not with Joseph's brothers when they resolved upon what they were going to do and wove their schemes [against him]. 102 And though thou try much, most men will not believe. 103 And no reward dost thou ask of them for this: it is no less than a message for all creatures. 104
