Said Moosa, “My Lord, open up my breast for me.” 25 And ease my task for me; 26 Loosen the knot in my tongue, 27 "So they may understand what I say: 28 And appoint for me a minister from my family - 29 "Harun (Aaron), my brother; 30 Strengthen by him my back. 31 and let him share my task 32 That we may hallow Thee oft. 33 and remember Thee without cease! 34 Verily Thou! Thou art of us ever a Beholder. 35 He said, “O Moosa, you have been granted your prayer.” 36 "And indeed, We bestowed Our favour upon thee at a time long since past, 37 when We revealed what was to be made known to your mother, 38 "'Throw (the child) into the chest, and throw (the chest) into the river: the river will cast him up on the bank, and he will be taken up by one who is an enemy to Me and an enemy to him': But I cast (the garment of) love over thee from Me: and (this) in order that thou mayest be reared under Mine eye. 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 "Go with your brother. Take My miracles and do not be reluctant in preaching My message. 42 Go both of you to the Pharaoh; he has become a rebel. 43 "And speak to him mildly, perhaps he may accept admonition or fear Allah." 44 The two [brothers] said: "O our Sustainer! Verily, we fear lest he act hastily with regard to us, or lest he [continue to] transgress all bounds of equity." 45 He said: "Fear not: for I am with you: I hear and see (everything). 46 So go to him and say, 'Indeed, we are messengers of your Lord, so send with us the Children of Israel and do not torment them. We have come to you with a sign from your Lord. And peace will be upon he who follows the guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 He said: who is the Lord of you twain, O Musa! 49 They replied, "Our Lord is the One Who has created all things and has given guidance". 50 Pharaoh asked: "Then, what is the state of the former generations?" 51 [Moses] said, "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 He it is Who spread the earth for you; and made in it paths for you, and sent down water from the sky, and then through it We brought forth many species of diverse plants. 53 So eat yourself and pasture your cattle. Surely there are many Signs in this for people of understanding. 54
