Have you seen him who turns his back, 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he have knowledge of the hidden, so he can foresee? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 That a man receives but only that for which he strives; 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 that it is He who causes to laugh and causes to weep. 43 And that it is He Who causeth to die and causeth to live. 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From Nutfah (drops of semen male and female discharges) when it is emitted; 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 and that it is He who gives wealth and riches, 48 And that He only is the Lord of the star Sirius? 49 And that He destroyed the former 'A-ad. 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 and the people of Noah; they were the most unjust and rebellious people. 52 And the overturned towns He hurled down 53 So there covered them that which covered. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This [Prophet] is a warner like the former warners. 56 The Approaching Day has approached. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 So are you surprised at this fact? 59 And you laugh and do not weep 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 But fall ye down in prostration to Allah, and adore (Him)! ۩ 62
