▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That this is indeed the glorious Qur'an 77 In a book that is protected 78 none but the purified shall touch, 79 a revelation from the Sustainer of all the worlds! 80 Is it this Statement that ye scorn, 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 if you are not subject to anyone's authority, 86 do you not restore his soul, if you are truthful? 87 Then if the dying one is of those having proximity, – 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 And if he (the dying person) be of those on the Right Hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 And if he be of those who treat (Truth) as Falsehood, who go wrong, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 and the heat of hell fire. 94 Verily, this is indeed the truth of truths! 95 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) proclaim the Purity of the name of your Lord, the Greatest. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
