The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER the bright morning hours, 1 And by oath of the night when it covers, 2 Thy Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased. 3 and the Hereafter will indeed be better for you than the present life; 4 And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find you wandering, and give you guidance? 7 Did He not find you in want, and make you free from want? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 and as for the beggar, scold him not; 10 But tell of the favors of your Lord! 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
