Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 When the seas are poured forth, 3 and when graves are laid open, 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 and composed thee after what form He would? 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,- 10 Honorable recorders, 11 who know all that you do: 12 The pious will surely be in heaven, 13 And lo! the wicked verily will be in hell; 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 They will never be able to escape from it. Would that you knew what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again: what will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
