Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily, [in the life to come] the tree of deadly fruit 43 Is food for the sinful. 44 Like the dregs of all! It shall seethe in the bellies: 45 Like the boiling of hot water. 46 “Seize him and drag him to the middle of the Blazing Fire, 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste this; you who considered yourself the mighty, the honourable! 49 “Indeed this is what you used to doubt about.” 50 Verily the God-fearing shall be in a secure place 51 among gardens and fountains, 52 robed in silk and brocade, set face to face. 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 And We have made it easy in thy language; they might haply be admonished. 58 Therefore wait (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they too are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
