As the caravan departed, their father said: 'I smell the scent of Joseph, unless you think I am foolish' 94 They said: "By Allah! Certainly, you are in your old error." 95 And when the bearer of good tidings arrived, he cast it over his face, and he returned [once again] seeing. He said, "Did I not tell you that I know from Allah that which you do not know?" 96 His sons said: 'Father, ask forgiveness for our sins. We have indeed been sinners' 97 He said: "I will ask my Lord for forgiveness for you, verily He! Only He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful." 98 Then when they came in to Yusuf, he took his parents to lodge with him and said: Enter safe into Egypt, if Allah please. 99 He lifted his parents to the throne, and (the others) bowed before him. Joseph said to his father: 'This is the meaning of my vision of long ago, my Lord has verified it. He has been gracious to me. He brought me out of prison and brought you out of the desert after satan had corrupted (the relationship) between me and my brothers. My Lord is Gentle to whom He will. He alone is the Knower, the Wise. 100 ۞ My Lord, You have given me [something] of sovereignty and taught me of the interpretation of dreams. Creator of the heavens and earth, You are my protector in this world and in the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous." 101 That is of the tidings of the Unseen that We reveal to thee; thou wast not with them when they agreed upon their plan, devising. 102 Yet - however strongly thou mayest desire it - most people will not believe [in this revelation,] 103 Thou askest them no fee for it. It is naught else than a reminder unto the peoples. 104
