Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaf: By the Glorious Qur'an (Thou art Allah's Messenger). 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 Surely We know that which the earth consumeth of them, and with Us is a Book preserved. 4 But they denied the truth when it came to them, so they are in a confused condition. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them - how We have built it and made it beautiful and free of all faults? 6 We spread out the earth and set upon it solid mountains and We brought forth from it all kinds of delightful plants, 7 An insight and an admonition for every bondman penitent. 8 And We send down from the skies water rich in blessings, and cause thereby gardens to grow, and fields of grain, 9 And tall date-palms laden with clusters ranged. 10 As provision for the servants, and We have given life thereby to a dead land. Thus is the resurrection. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 The 'Ad, Pharaoh, the brethren of Lut, 13 And the dwellers of the grove and the people of Tuba; all rejected the apostles, so My threat came to pass. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
