The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken with her (violent) shaking, 1 and it throws out its burden, 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
