HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world,] 33 and gives so little [of himself for the good of his soul,] and so grudgingly? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Has not he been informed of the contents of the Book of Moses 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 “That no bearer of a burden shall bear the burden of another, 38 And that for man shall be naught save that wherefor he endeavoureth. 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 And only then will he receive his recompense in full; 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 That it is He Who granteth Laughter and Tears; 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 And that it is He Who has created the two pairs, male and female? 45 from a drop of sperm when it was emitted, 46 And that upon Him (Allah) is another bringing forth (Resurrection); 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 That He is the Lord of Sirius (the Mighty Star); 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 He plunged the villages 53 and caused them to be covered with that which He covered them with. 54 About which of the bounties of your Lord can they persistently dispute? 55 This (Muhammad SAW) is a warner (Messenger) of the (series of) warners (Messengers) of old. 56 that [Last Hour] which is so near draws ever nearer, 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And keep laughing and do not weep, 60 Indulging in pleasantries? 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
