The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Exalt the Name of your Lord, the Highest, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 So remind, if the reminder should benefit; 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
