The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By the snorting courses, 1 Then those striking sparks of fire, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 and raising clouds of dust, 4 Cleaving, as one, the centre (of the foe), 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And to that fact he bears witness (by his deeds); 7 And verily in the love of wealth he is vehement, 8 ۞ Does he not know that when that which is in the graves is overthrown, 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 indeed, on that Day their Lord will be aware of them! 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
