Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 Revelation of this Book, whereof there is no doubt, is from the Lord of the Worlds. 2 Or do they say he has fabricated it? In fact, it is the truth from your Lord so that you may warn the people to whom no admonisher was sent before you. They may haply come to guidance. 3 God is He that created the heavens and the earth, and what between them is, in six days, then seated Himself upon the Throne. Apart from Him, you have no protector neither mediator; will you not remember? 4 He arranges [each] matter from the heaven to the earth; then it will ascend to Him in a Day, the extent of which is a thousand years of those which you count. 5 Such is He who knows all that is beyond the reach of a created being's perception, as well as all that can be witnessed by a creature's senses or mind: the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 6 It is He Who created everything in the best manner and began the creation of the human being from clay. 7 Then He made his seed from a draught of despised fluid; 8 Then He fashioned him and breathed into him something of a spirit from Him; and He ordained for you hearing and sight and hearts. Little is the thanks ye return. 9 They have said, "How can we be brought to life again after we have been lost in the earth?" In fact, they have no faith in the Day of Judgment 10 ۞ Proclaim, “The angel of death, who is appointed over you, causes you to die and then towards your Lord you will return.” 11
