The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 Said he: "And what knowledge could I have as to what they were doing [before they came to me]? 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 and drowned the others. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
